Serious Misconduct
Misconduct: occurs when a public officer abuses his/her authority for personal gain, or to cause detriment to another person, or acts contrary to the public interest. This is a fairly simple explanation of misconduct. For the detailed definition of misconduct refer to section 4 Corruption and Crime Commission Act 2003 (WA).
